Cue 'Street Scene' - I'm headed to Manhattan!

I feel it would be utterly impossible to do this post without hearing a little Street Scene. If you remember, I posted about the old tune here after watching I Wake Up Screaming (GREAT MOVIE!).

Here's a glimpse:


Now onto one of my favorite New Yorky movies, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey is not only amazing in this film, but I LOVE the feelings she conveys with her expression. Here are some of my favorite things from the film.



Holly: "Do you think she's talented, deeply and importantly talented?"
Paul: "No. Amusingly and superficially talented, yes. But deeply and importantly, no."


Holly: "Certain shades of limelight wreck a girl's complexion."


Holly: "I don't want to own anything until I know I've found the place where me and things belong together. I'm not quite sure where that is just yet. But I know what it's like.... It's like Tiffany's.... Not that I give a hoot about jewelry. Diamonds, yes. But it's tacky to wear diamonds before you're forty."

Paul: "I forgot my key"
Holly: "Nevermind...I just buzzzed Yunioshi." ;)


Holly: "I do not accpet drinks from disapproving gentleman."


Holly: "Where's the cat?"
Paul: "I don't know"
{They search for the cat and Holly finds him}




Ohhhh such an amazing film. Now I need to see it again.
